24 Hours of Le Mans 2016 - Updated entry list after Test Day


Today, the ACO released an updated entry list for the Le Mans 24 Hours, with a few driver changes following Sundays testday.


Following both practice sessions on Sunday, there have been a few changes on the entry list. In LMP2, Olivier Lombard has been replaced by Erik Maris in the #22 So24! by Lombard Racing Ligier JSP2/Nissan. As earlier announced, Will Stevens takes Nathanaël Berthon's seat in the #26 G-Drive Oreca 05. Stevens has been replaced by Roberto Merhi in the #44 Manor Oreca05/Nissan. Jakub Giermaziak won't race with Greaves Motorsport next week, at the testday he was replaced by Jon Lancaster. Nathanaël Berthon will take his place during the 24 hours. 

In GTE-Am, Paolo Ruberti missed out on the testday due to an injury after an accident at Hockenheim. Nick Catsburg and Jean-Phillipe Belloc drove the #50 Corvette on Sunday. Up until now no decision has been made on the replacement driver for the unfortunate Italian.

*** Update : Larbre Competition has confirmed that Jean-Philippe Belloc will take the third seat next week.
