Spirit of Le Mans, a new magazine launched by the ACO


Tomorrow, on June 2nd, the first issue of a brand new racing magazine will be published : "Spirit of Le Mans". 

Spirit of Le Mans was announced in February at the presentation of this years 24 Hours of Le Mans and will be published by the ACO.  This new, high quality magazine will be published every three months and focus on every aspect of the fascinating world of endurance: sporting, technological, human, environmental, cultural and social. 


The first issue will go on sale tomorrow, in French (at kiosks, by subscription or at the track) and English (by subscription and at the track). Price per issue is € 12. A subscription in France will set you back 39 € per year, in Europe 65 € and international 74 €. 

Every three months, the 100 page magazine will plunge its readers into wat goes on behind the scenes of endurance racing with some exclusive content. Through interviews and portraits, readers of Spirit of Le Mans will be introduced to the heroes who have written some of the greatest pages in the history of motor sport. Drivers, teams; engineers, marshals and all those involved in the endurance world. Spirit of Le Mans will also analyse and explain all new technologies that are being implemented in the top classes of endurance racing.  

Spirit of Le Mans’ intention is to be an open, accessible and pedagogical magazine. While it specialises in subjects aimed at endurance fans, its objective is also to attract readers who wish to discover a universe with which they are not yet familiar. Spirit of Le Mans will open its pages to artists of all kinds - photographers, painters, sculptors – and passionate lovers of the world of the motor car in addition to well-known figures including writers, philosophers and doctors who will enlighten readers with their take on the sport.
